The Gathering Hurling Festival 2013

13 Etihad Airways is immensely proud to support the International Hurling Festival, a key feature of The Gathering Ireland 2013. As one of the title sponsors for this tournament we are delighted to fly the teams from the Middle East and Australia to take part in a tournament that has all the makings of a classic, with sixteen teams from around the world battling to claim the crown. The team representing Australia contains All-Stars selected at the 2012 Australasian Championships and come from clubs in New South Wales, Queensland and Western Australia. The Middle East All Stars feature players from many of the Middle East clubs including Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Qatar. As guests of Etihad Airways they will fly on our modern fleet of aircraft, equipped with world class product and staffed by our award-winning cabin crew. Etihad Airways’ commitment to Ireland and Irish culture continues to grow. We have been a sponsor of the GAA Hurling All-Ireland Senior Championship since February 2008. Last year we extended our deal with the GAA for a further five years to incorporate naming rights of the Etihad Skyline at Croke Park. The GAA Hurling All-Ireland has finished for another year and all eyes will now turn to the International Hurling Festival, we wish all the teams taking part, the very best of luck.
