Previously part of the Asian County Board, the Middle East Board was set up in June 2013, in recognition of the fact that over 1,000 people are now playing Gaelic Games in the Region. Middle East Chairman, James Kennedy stated, “We are delighted to be part of this wonderful initiative by the Aer Lingus, Etihad and the GAA and are really looking forward to competing in Galway in September where the Middle East All Stars will be making their debut and I can’t think of a more fitting occasion for that to happen.” Dubai Celts Sun, Sea & Hurling
